I went back to the website but only got general information. Also, although it was supposed to come with all hanging hardware, there were no screws to put into the trees. So, sadly, Dad was not able to swing in his hammock for Father's Day. I will have to go to the hardware store today and try again to hang it.

Q1: Can it get wet and stand Florida's moist climate? How do you clean it?

A: The hammock is polyester so to clean you would spot clean with a damp soapy sponge or rag. Leave to air dry and do not put in the washing machine. It can get wet, but to prevent mildew we would recommend you store inside during inclement weather. Optimal choice for this climate and year round usage would be a higher grade fabric such as Sunbrella, textaline, or Duracord - such as AL028, TOH011, or DP106.

Q2: My trees are 18 ft. apart. Any way to make this "fit"? Perhaps the straps with additional chain links to attach to hammock from straps?

A: You can run additional chains to extend the length and hang. Check out NE007 - if you are okay with putting the eyelets in the tree - the nylon cords will stretch out to cover the distance of your trees. The height of the eyelets may need to be adjusted or hung a bit higher to be taut enough to support.

Q3: Description states: Includes hanging hardware - does this include the screws so it can be attached to a tree? Also, how long are the chains? Thanks.

A: No, the hanging hardware includes the 2 sets or 4 total "s" hooks and 2 lengths of chain. Each chain length measures 13 inches. If you wanted the eyelets or screws for the tree - this would be our universal hanging hardware kit - USI018.
