Hammocks without spreader bars are often times used indoors and out for furniture or beds. These hammocks will give you more support than that of a rope or mesh hammock. They are durable and long lasting due to the close weave of the fibers. This may be an important feature if you have children or animals around your house. This style is also easier to get out of than other open-weave style hammocks. Fabric hammocks have less ventilation than a rope or mesh hammock. If you live in a hot and humid climate a fabric hammock may not be the best choice. On a hot summer day you can become sweaty, sticky and uncomfortable hot due to the closed weave of the fabric. Those in humid climates may want to choose an open-weave style hammock.
