Nylon Hammocks are firmer feeling, with less flex than cotton hammocks. However, the nylon string is silky feeling and incredibly comfortable. The colors are vivid and unlikely to fade. Nylon Mayan Hammocks offer increased durability, which may be better for travel or regular outdoor use. Nylon is available with our Queen and King size Mayan Hammocks only.
Thick String Cotton Hammocks are built for heavy use and is the most durable of the Mayan Hammocks. It is made from thick gauge cotton 3-4 times the size of regular Mayan hammocks.
