I have slept in this hammock every night for a year and often with my girlfriend snuggled next to me right in my bedroom. It truly repaired my constantly sore back. I show the hammock and my custom made stand to everyone who visits. EVERYONE is amazed by it and more than one have been inspired themselves. Least expensive bed (and best) I ever bought!!

I have purchased several of these hammocks over the years, and they are extremely comfortable when NEW. Very happy in the beginning. The problem is that they did not hold up over time. I guess I made the mistake of leaving mine hanging outside all the time in spring/summer months. The first one fell apart, so for the second one I went with this "Thick String" hammock, thinking it might be more durable. Same result, by the end of summer it faded and fell apart. I loved laying in both hammocks, but I would not recommend leaving them out in the elements of sun and rain, if you want to get more than a few months of use out of them.

I've wanted a hammock forever and am inlove with this one. It's sooo comfortable and I love the way it cocoons around you when you lay in it end to end. That feature keeps you cool and shaded even when the sun is shining on you. I have to kick my kids out of it for my time. We all love it!

Very comfortable. My daughter and I fit comfortably. Ive read some of the other reviews about weathers quickly. I dont leave mine out all the time and it's used in a shaded area. I hang it in the shed when not in use. It looks just as good as it did when I first purchased it.

We love this Hammock its so Comfy and it holds a lot of people ease! But you have to take it down when it rains and watch for Squirrels because they will tear it up!

And I love it. The first i beat the snot out of it with my 6yo son. It took a beating with him and all his friends. The second i was lazy and didn't remove it during the rainy months and it rotted...even with the sock.
This one i plan to love indefinitely.
I do recommend that you do not it get soaked and not dry it properly, they will rot as they are natural. Do not trust the Sock. If you plan to leave it out in the open elements remove if you expect repeated rains.

A: There is no way to remove mildew from these hammocks without affecting the color of the hammock itself. Please purchase SKU KWP003 during your checkout process. It is a protective spray that will guard your hammock from the elements. You could also keep your hammock out of the rain and that will prevent the mildew from forming in the first place.

A: You will need to use item #USI012 - the Adjustable Hammock Stand designed for non-spreader bar hammocks - such as the Mazatlan Mayan hammock.
