      Just got this in mail today and could not be happier. It is stretchy but its only natural since its hand woven. To avoid strech or sag tighten the hangin chain and ur set. Aqua is beautiful color. Easy to set up, even better i can wash. Will probably avoid machine wash since itlooks kinda delicate but a good soak will do the trick when it gets weathered. Amazing so comfyyyyy.....

        I sleep in this hammock every night. On conventional sleeping surfaces, I stiffen to the point of needing help to reposition myself. In the Nicaraguan Grand Caribbean, I sleep through the night, wake refreshed and flexible. It was a bit of a challenge positioning hanging-hooks conveniently in our bedroom (an 1869, American bedroom doesn't lend itself easily to "unconventional" sleeping arrangements!) but well worth the effort. Two points to consider: 1 - the air beneath you can be chilly, so you'll need a pad of some sort to line the hammock. I use a feather bed in chilly seasons. 2 - this hammock safely cocoons you, so using a bolster to "open" it keeps your blankets inside and gives you a cozy space to move around in while retaining stability. Overall, an awesome way to sleep!

        Q1: Will this hammock be ok for hanging between 2 posts that are 11 feet apart? If I hang the hammock approx. 6 feet high on the posts, how low to the ground will the hammock be when someone is in it?

        A: Yes - the minimum hanging distance for this hammock is 9 ft. 3 in. and the maximum hanging distance is 11 ft. 3 inches - so hanging between posts 11 feet apart will work. How far the hammock dips is relative to the size of the person - so there's not a standard rate the hammock drops. You just have to make sure the hammock isn't positioned so high you cannot get in.

        Q2: Can this hammock be hung on a stand?

        A: This hammock can be hung on our Adjustable Hammock Stand, item# USI012 or BY007

        Q3: Is the main picture shown as Khaki?

        A: The main image displayed is natural.

        Q4: How would you clean the hammock?

        A: To machine wash your hammock, fold it in half so the ring ends meet, and tie the ends together with a cord. Tie up the other end, and fold once more in the middle. Put the bundle in a pillowcase and tie that up too. All this will prevent the hammock from tangling up in the wash. Use a mild detergent. Never use bleach, which deteriorates the cloth and strips helpful coatings from the fibers. Go ahead and use a little conditioner, which will help your hammock stay soft and smell good. Skip the dryer: it's best to air-dry your hammock. Just hang it back on it's frame or from you favorite tree. Don't store it wet, because mildew kills cotton.Hand washing is even gentler. Tie your hammock as described above to keep it from getting tangled. Fill a large sink or bathtub with room-temp water and add a little mild detergent. Again, no bleach. Agitate it gently with your hands until you feel it is clean. A little softener is nice when you rinse it, to keep it soft and fresh. Wring it gently, untie it, and hang it out to air-dry. Done!

        A: You can use a hammock to sleep. Hammocks induce a relaxed state of both mind and body by working from a principle called "Weight distribution". While all hammocks are beneficial for relaxing the body and mind, these hammocks in particular are the most popular for sleeping and other indoor uses.
