Before I bought this hammock, I had been having back pain when I woke up every day for nearly two months. At my wit's end, I decided to try sleeping in a hammock. I had read that this was a healthy way to sleep. This hammock was everything I was looking for as a starter, and after my first night I found that my morning back pain had completely disappeared. I can feel my back muscles stretch out when I get into it at night, and I sleep deeper and more restfully than I ever did in a bed. I turn slightly diagonally with feet to the left of the strings and my head to the right, tuck my blanket around my feet, and use a smaller pillow than before.

What's great about this hammock: It's easier to change position in a hammock that isn't netted, so this hammock is perfect. It's really beautiful, and the fabric is fairly soft. The color is intensely rich. The size is perfect for one not-too-tall person and installs in a normal sized room easily. Some of the larger hammocks are too long in a typical bedroom; I know because I tried a couple after deciding I wanted a larger size.

After getting the hang of sleeping in this hammock, I realized that I'd like a little more room to stretch out. This hammock is 4'6" across, so even a foot more of space might be preferable to some folks who make this a permanent lifestyle. (I've ordered another hammock that is 6' across.)

This hammock will become my new movie watching chair in the den. Seriously--it's that addictive. I've already installed eye hooks in the wall at my mother's so I can carry this hammock there when I stay over. Thanks to this hammock, I get the best pain-free sleep anyone could ask for.

I love this thing. I use it almost every day in my backyard. It works perfectly with my existing hammock stand, and it's easy to hang up. Comfortable, soft, perfectly stretchy, durable. Only downside is it's most definitely made for only one person. But still big enough to lay in it sideways, like a chair. Worth the money, glad I bought it.
