Description

This 100% cotton Brazilian Import embraces two key elements, strength and beauty. These hammocks are solid cloth, so they are not as easily damaged from snags. Brazilian style hammocks do not use a wooden spreader bar on each end, so we recommend lying diagonally, thereby, spreading the hammock out and creating a flatter surface. There is less risk of flipping over as with the hammocks that have a spreader bar. They are very comfortable and elegant in appearance and can be used indoors or outdoors. Many of our customers who have traveled abroad have loved the style of Mayan, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian hammocks because of their high comfort level. These hammocks are often used as beds, so feel free to use them to their full potential.

        I have purchased this as a replacement for my older hammock that due to extremely wet weather this past summer developed some mildew (I should have brought it inside)the hammock is still usable, but has faded some and is not as attractive with the mildew spots. Besides my neglect the hammock is wonderful! The colors are vibrant and the construction is fantastic and strong.
        I love the fact that it is a solid fabric and not woven as it makes it very safe and easy for my 2 year old grandson to climb around in (no chance of little hands and feet getting tangled)and as it does not have stretcher bars we have never even come close to flipping it over.
        Aside from neglect, this hammock is made of cotton and will eventually need replacement just because it will naturally wear and weaken, but this is made from high quality materials and I believe it would last several years.
        I would buy this hammock over and over again! This time I will also purchase the hammock sock!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          These are so comfortable and the design and soft fabric are so tempting I have actually had passers by try it out. We loved this so much we ordered a second. Spend the extra $ and get this hammock you will not regret it

              Q1: What is the blue material bunched up on the hammock?

              A: That is actually a protective hammock sleeve you can purchase separately. The hammock sleeves are great for non-spreader bar hammocks like this Brazilian to help protect from the elements. The sleeve is a coated polyester fabric with drawstrings on each end to close and you just slip on one end of the hammock before you hang.

              Q2: Does this hammock hold two adults?

              A: Yes - it does have enough room for 2 and a weight capacity of 400 lbs.

              Q3: Will this product work with two cemented-in poles 10' apart?

              A: The Hanging Distance should be  Min 9ft 2in /Max 11ft 2in so it should work.

              Q4: Where can i find the protective cover?

              A: We are currently out of stock on the protective covers.  The item number for the protective covers is BY008.  We will show them on the website again once the item is back in stock.
