I just got this today so I can't comment on how long it lasts. However right now it it awesome! It came with S hooks and chain all I need was large screws to hook to the tree which I got at [...] for a few bucks. It doesn't sink that much when you lay in it and isn't too stretchy at all. It's comfortable and looks really good in the yard. And at the unbelievably low price i would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality hammock!

This hammock is very pretty but that is the only good thing about it. The hammock is not comfortable, you always feel like it is going to flip over, it doesn't have a nice "sag". The plastic material is too taut, not stretchy, so you feel like you are balancing on a ridge that goes down the middle of your back with the sides falling away from your body, not securely cuddling you into the hammock. Also, it is too short. 6'5" doesn't work for my husband at 6'1". He hits his head on the spreader.

Just got the hammock but it is what we have been looking for. We wanted a hammock that would dry quickly and not mildew and we think this is the one. We have had several so price was a concern too. We like that it is not cloth, I usually have a beach towel on it so the material does not bother me. The hammock that came with our frame originally was like this material but I had been unable to find one in our price range We live near the ocean so we need a material that can take the salt and sun. We already have a huge frame so my husband just adjusts the ropes/bars on the hammock to the height that we like because they usually are too low. So far we think this is going to last us alot longer than our last ones that were cloth. We hope to get alot of use out of it.

The ropes of our old cotton rope hammock finally rotted out after many years of use and abuse. We were left with the steel frame which isn't much fun to lay on. After having the useless steel frame uselessly take up space I decided to do an Internet search in an attempt to find a replacement hammock minus the frame. Hammocks.com not only had a hammock without the frame they had a whole assortment of hammocks to choose from in all styles, fabric and rope choices and design. We found the hammock at the price we wanted to pay and as an unexpected bonus regular shipping was amazingly reasonable and fast.
