Hammocks.com has a large variety of cotton hammocks. We have all styles and of cotton hammocks to fit your needs. If comfort is your first priority, we recommend choosing a cotton hammock. A cotton hammock will stretch and contour to your body making it a more comfortable fabric than nylon. If left outside, the cotton strings may absorb moisture, making it susceptible to mold and mildew. Because cotton hammocks are made for comfort, the delicate strings can easily snag. You must be careful entering and exiting the hammock. Cotton hammocks are a great choice if you're looking for comfort and durability. A well-made cotton hammock is very low maintenance. The cotton hammock has a virtually closed weave, so it is strong and resilient to excessive use or against rough-housing children. They are typically available in traditional solid or striped patterns. | ![]() |
As far as comfort goes, cotton hammocks are very comfortable, especially those without spreader bars. In fact, this style of hammock is commonly used in place of a bed. Cotton hammocks that have spreader bars do not conform and envelop your body as well, but are still comfortable. And unlike rope hammocks, there is no waffling imprint left on your body!
We know you'll love relaxing in your cotton hammock just as this satisfied customer does!
A little piece of heaven in my backyard!
This is by far a must have. When guests come over to my house it is mandatory that they lay on the hammock. It is soft, and the most comfortable hammock I have ever have used. Once on it, I found myself laying it on it for hours. The secret is laying on it diagonal, not straight across. You get the most comfort this way. I tell everyone I know they should have a hammock of their own.
