Standard hammock with stand sets include the hammock and either a hammock stand or a hammock hanging kit. The stands available in sets with hammocks are generally the same as those available individually (wooden, steel, stainless steel, foldable). Of course, the advantages of having a hammock on a stand are the same whether you buy them separately or as a set: portability and versatility. If your hammock is on a stand instead of attached to trees, it can be moved to different parts of the yard to accommodate sun or shade, it can be moved indoors to a screened-in porch when the weather gets cold, and it can be moved aside or, possibly, folded to store when it's not in use. And having a hammock and stand means you don't need appropriately spaced trees or posts to enjoy your reading or napping place.
