    This was my wife's Mother's Day present. She loves the design and it fits her perfectly. The kids get a kick out of it as well. My 4-year-old helped me assemble it, and we had it together in about 15 minutes.

    It's rated for 260 lbs, and since the two of us together weigh ~280, we figured we'd give it a shot. The design of it means that as you put weight in the hammock, the arcs get closer to each other, lowering the tension on the hammock. With both of us in it, my backside was dragging on the ground! And yes, our hammock is in as tight as it will go. If this stand had been about 4 inches longer, or less "giving" with applied weight, I would give it 5 stars. As it is, it's a great hammock stand for the price.

    Stand arrived with three holes for bolts missing at one end of one piece. We had to drill them ourselves after borrowing a large bit from neighbors. Otherwise it seems ok. We'll see how...Read complete review

            very good looking, Reminds me of Modern Danish design. If you don't have a tree to attach your hammock to, the next best thing is this type of wooden stand. The little extra expense is worth it.........Any of the cheaper metal ones are just plain ugly! I know....I have one! Now I have this one to look at.....It really looks like sculpture
