We registered for this hammock stand and were so excited when it arrived. It looked great... until now. Today, we walked outside to see that the wood on the end had split down the entire piece of wood. Absolutely RIDICULOUS.

The hammock stand is beautiful and looks great in our yard. The only down side is it is very heavy and a bit hard to put together by one person.

Measure your hammock first, because this stand is for 10 to 11 foot hammocks only, and that's just what I needed. My sister and I installed it in less than an hour. A couple washers were missing, but this was easily remedied with a trip to the hardware store. It is well-made and out of cypress wood, one of the best woods for lasting in Florida's heat and humidity. What I love most is the streamlined arc that is like a piece of sculpture by my pool, even without the hammock.

Excellent stand for any hammock. It's an art-piece in itself and so attractive, that the biggest challenge is finding the perfect spot!

You will have an extremely hard time finding a Hammock that fits.I must be 10ft in length. Also the stain washes off with the rain and will stain any suface underneith it like my new patio. Finaly after 6 weeks the wood started to split apart.
