    This item looks great but impossible to put together. defect in manufacturing. holes do not line up.

      I read two negative review, but only after I had purchased the stand. I was expecting the worst when it arrived. Much to my surprise, the stand was great -- very attractive, easy to assmble and appears very durable. To anyone having trouble "lining up the holes" I'd only suggest that you don't tighten up any bolts until you have them all in. Only then do you tighten them down.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          the stand was impossible to put together as the bolts did not aline with the holes, really bad construction and I then had to package it all up and send it back, the item is extremly heavy and it scratches easily and therefore within a couple of years it will rust.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
