Adjustable Hammock Stand, 4 Handles, 4 Screws
Hanging Hardware, Hammock
The perfect hammock stand for Mayan, Brazilian & Nicaraguan Hammocks!
When you need a no-hassle way to hang your non-spreader hammock, order this stand! Made of heavy gauge steel, the powder-coated Adjustable Hammock Stand accommodates just about every size of hammock that doesn't have spreader bars. No hanging hardware is need because the ends "catch" into the loops for total hanging ease. It adjusts from 121 to 147 inches in length and 47 to 57 inches in height. Threaded hand knobs and pre-drilled holes secure all adjustments to complete this rigid, stable, and ingenious hammock stand.
While it's designed for use with non-spreader bar hammocks, this stand will also accommodate hammocks with spreader bars.

The stand is well made and a good design. However - I had an issue with one of the vertical telescoping tubes with the adjustment holes bending.I am an engineer and it looks like it was a material defect. My wife and I have a combined weight less than the 350 lbs capacity and used both a mayan and spreader bar hammock fine. That being said I called hammocks[@] to get a replacement part and they made it right and then some. [...]Note: We bought the Island Bay XL rope hammock and it had to be hooked up at the ends without using a chain. The hammock will be very tight at first but you have to stretch it so it sags a little.

This heavy, sturdy stand is well designed and very easy to set up -- IF it arrives with all the parts. [...] A trip to the hardware store to match what was fortunately a standard-size bolt solved the assembly problem, and my family was quickly enjoying our hammock. I LOVE the design of this stand, especially since in our winter climate, we will want to take the stand down to store it indoors in the snowy months. (I'd give the design 5 stars.) A product this heavy, though, really should be packed in a more stable way to avoid damage & part loss. I'm going to have to figure out some waterproof product to coat the scratch on the leg so it won't rust, since there's no way I could possibly reuse the box and its disintegrated styrofoam to return this if I wanted to exchange it for a non-scratched one.Bottom line: GREAT product, fast shipping, great price, just be aware that it may not arrive in the very best shape.

Comments about Island Bay Adjustable Hammock Stand:
Only took about 10 minutes to put together, and the stand is a lot bigger than I thought but fits my hammock. Very sturdy, and I'm very glad for the adjustable features considering my hammock stretches. Did not like the condition in which is was delivered, but weight of the product may have contributed to this. Aside from the size, I haven't really had any problems with the product. I looks great, doesn't smell, and is clean.

Comments about Island Bay Adjustable Hammock Stand:
This stand was perfect! I bought my husband a great hammock and was told it needed a 15 foot stand. I bought just that and I could not get it to fit. The hammock was about 2 feet short to reach! I saw this adjustable one and knew that no matter what size was I could get this stand to work for me since the manufacture of the hammock was insisting the hammock needed a 11 to 15 foot stand! Mmm that's 4 feet difference! This stand was a dream come true! It was not hard to put together at all and I did it by myself in about 20-30 minutes!

Q1: I have a 10' and a 13' Brazilian hammock and I am considering this stand. Will it provide the proper length and height to safely and comfortably hang these hammocks? - Thank you
A: This stand would work for the 13 ft. Brazilian hammock but may be too large to hang or use with the 10 ft. hammock.
Q2: Can the wheel kit be used with the adjustable hammock stand?
A: Yes! The wheel kit will work with any of our metal stands.
Q3: i have a hammock that is a total of 10 ft long--will the adjustable stand work ??
A: Yes - you may need to add some additional chain.
Q4: What size is the box packaging? Do you ship outside USA?
A: The shipping box is 49L x 14W x 9H inches and the adjustable hammock stand only ships in contiguous USA.
Q5: I have a non spreader style hammock. Which of your metal stands do you recommend for a 10' long hammock? This would be from ring to ring.
A: We do not carry stand for a 10' hammock, however chain could be added for additional length. This stand will support an 11' non spreader type hammock. We also carry tree straps and the Algoma Hammock Post (AC025) to place in the ground if you only have one tree.
