    Over all, I love this thing.Cons first (nothing significant):Really squeaky while swinging after a few weeks, so bust out the WD40. Flexes a lot while swinging, but seems strong enough. Slides on deck while swinging, which won't matter if you put it on your grass. The rope pattern has some pretty uneven diamonds (holes). Absolutely no mention on website of the width of the hammock itself when I bought it; only length of hammock and width of stand (FYI: it's 65" wide, 5" longer than the XL). Pillow is not all that comfortable. Use it for your legs and put your favorite pillow under your head.Pros (why you should buy it anyway):This thing is comfortable. I mean comfortable! I got the polyester for concerns over the rainy Northwest. However, the way they weaved it ended up being so soft that I called up to see if they accidentally sent me the rope one instead. [...] Big enough for my wife, two kids and myself together.Tips: When you set it up, raise it as high as you can, because it will really stretch and you don't want to bump the ground like I did. As the directions say; sit down SLOWLY. Slip your heels through the diamond pattern; feels much nicer. Once in a while, throw a blanket on it. My baby girl loves that.

      Super easy to set up. No tools required. I would assemble it where you will be using it. I lugged it around the back of the house after assembly, and it is REALLY heavy. I love the product and look forward to getting home after work and relaxing in it.

      The hammock and stand were very easy to put together. We did need to stretch it very tight to make it so when you got in it, you didn't hit your butt on the ground. but once it was tight enough, it was great.

          Q1: How much weight can the hammock hold ? Can you leave it out in the weather ? If you leave it out should you buy the polyester or the cotton ?

          A: This hammock can support up to 450 lbs. Yes you can leave out in weather and if you are intending to do so - definitely choose the polyester option. We do recommend taking your hammock in for inclement weather and storms to increase it's longevity and make sure your hammock is completely dry before storage to deter mildew.

          Q2: Do I need a stand, can I use two posts instead, besides stands, any other way of hanging?

          A: Yes - you can use posts instead of a stand. We offer a hammock post, item# AC025, on the site. If you have a tree and just need to support 1 side, order a single post. If you don't have any trees - order 2 for a set. You could hang this hammock (with trees) via a tree strap as well - such as item #NE003. Please keep in mind this item (HIB05) includes the hammock and stand, if you'd rather just buy the hammock by itself, you'll want to look at item# HIB03.

          Q3: Which one is better cotton or polyester?

          A: If comfort is what you're looking for, we recommend cotton. Cotton will stretch and conform to your body, making this type of hammock one of the most comfortable available. The natural fibers of cotton breathe next to your skin, and cotton is eco-friendly and renewable. Unbleached cotton creates a more natural white hue. Because cotton absorbs moisture, it works especially well in drier climates. If you're looking for a hammock that will withstand outdoor conditions such as humidity, moisture, and salt water air, we recommend a polyester hammock. The synthetic materials in polyester give it wonderful durability. Polyester fibers retain bright white and other colors. This type of hammock is resistant to harmful UV rays, mold and mildew, and it will last for years.Polyester is the default choice because it has better resistance to the elements.
