This Island Bay Rope Hammock and Stand Package is the gateway to having the ultimate hammock experience! Thick 8mm rope cord is the widest you can find. Choose between comfortable cotton or durable polyester fabrics. The hammock stand is powder-coated to for lasting good looks and structural integrity. 14-gauge steel is the heaviest kind commercially available. Hanging hardware is included, too. Finding the key to relaxation could not be simpler.


The Difference From One Rope Hammock To Another
Some hammocks are made with thin rope cord only 4mm to 6mm wide. Our Island Bay is made with 8mm rope, which is soft spun for comfort. The extreme thickness makes the rope much more durable. Thinner ropes wear out faster and may not hold up to inclement weather conditions. Soft spun 8mm rope cord gives our hammock the greatest amount of quality, comfort, and durability. That is tough to beat.

    The product thus far has exceeded expectations. Bought as a valentines day/anniversary gift, my girlfriend LOVED it. The metal stand base went together fast & easy with no tools, although the d-tent pins look a little on the cheap side. The 'teak' finish looks great and the hammock is very comfortable. Hasn't seen but a few minutes of use so I can't speak towards long term durability but it looks good so far.

    The instructions say to get in slowly at first- they are right, if you don't you'll end up sitting on the ground. It stretches out- tons, so you have to stand up repeatily to keep tightening it so you don't skim your rear on the ground (and 170 lbs husband was in there solo)the first few times. Now it's so high off of the ground that it's tough to get in to (I'm 5'5" and have to almost climb up into it). I'm not sure there is a standard knot formation or distance measurement but these feel a little uncomfy on the body compared to the hammock it's replacing...hope that this softens some. It looks nice on it's new stand but it's not getting used by me much.

      I just got the hammock and finally got out of it 2 hours later! Super easy to set up. With me and hubby almost 400 lbs, great to lay in it together. Shipping was super fast. The stand is EASY to move (2 people) and the design is sooo comfortable with 2 people occupying it. Seeing as it is only a few hours old, I don't know how long it will last, but it seems sturdy and good quality. I shopped around a lot and your site offered the best price all around.

      Delivery was SUPER FAST and exactly in the time as said on the site (and very fast over Christmas time!) Thank you, we are very very pleased.

          Good product, strange problem solution.

          Service and delivery comments:

          Customer service was available and courteous, but ultimately not helpful. Solution to missing hardware was for me to return the entire package and have them refill and assume the hardware would be included the next time. How about overnight delivery of the missing 'S' hooks? Too simple? Not enough inconvenience?

            I love hammocks. This one is well built, easy to set up, and very comfortable. We got the frame in a fake wood finish. It looks pretty fake and cheap. Next time I would go for the metal or black finish.
