I wish the previous review would've been posted before I purchased mine! Although assembly was easy...the hammock does hit the ground after set up. I finally got it to stay off the ground after four tries, but I purchased this with the intent of laying on it with my husband...needless to say...I don't think it will even hold his own weight, let alone the two of us! Additionally, the feet are not long enough to get a proper balance. When you sit in the hammock, it starts to tip and you might topple over if you aren't paying attention. Get something else! This is cheaply made and will most like result in us buying something else that will work better.

First, it was a surprise to open the box and find that "Cocoa Brown" was actually a light colored Ivory. Certainly does not look that way in the pictures! Next, setting up the hammock was interesting... there are actually two different types of S hooks - one set was larger and less s-shaped than the true s hooks that came with the chain. So, trying to use the true S hooks where the term was used in the instructions became a long, silly process. Not until we gave up and found the larger, crooked hooks did we succeed. OK chalk that up to mis-communication - we felt kind of silly afterwards. But, after attempting to sit in the hammock after three different tries to tighten the chain, each one of us, even the lightest person, found their behind making contact with the ground. So, the string material was not only the wrong color, but EXCESSIVELY stretchy!!! This hammock is not worth the time or effort - DON'T BUY IT!!!!
