Our products are shipped partially assembled. Assembly is easy and requires only common household tools. Furniture will be shipped with all necessary fasteners. Assembly is a matter of minutes with easy to follow instructions. Carefully read the instructions and acquaint yourself with the wood parts, bolts and screw sizes before starting assembly of your furniture.
To wash or clean, simply spot clean or scrub with a soft brush using warm, soapy water and hang to dry. Do not put product into washing machine, a tumble dryer, or clean with any harsh chemicals (including bleach). To prevent mildew, we recommend taking down your hammock and storing inside during inclement weather.

I have a back patio without trees so I thought this was the perfect place for a hammock with a stand. It looks terrific, and it has solid construction. The main drawback is that the wind catches the hammock easily, and is constantly being tipped over. I have to set up and take down the hammock whenever we want to use it. This doesn't go along with my idea of an ideal retreat for the few minutes a day that I have available. I would use it much more often if I didn't have to set it up and then take it back down immediately.

I couldn't be more impressed with this company. It was easy to search for a hammock for my father for Father's Day, they offered very aggressive pricing, and the hammock arrived very quickly. Ordered the hammock and stand set for my wife's birthday. There were no instructions included, and though it should have been easy to set up, the S hooks did not fit the stand. Customer service is sending a different kit of hooks, but we are disappointed to have to wait longer to use the hammock.

You can't beat this for the price. The stand is super easy to put together and take apart, and the hammock is super comfortable and seems durable. Me, my mother, (both about 130lbs each) and my two dogs (about 75 lbs total) all fit comfortably and felt very stable. The pillow might as well not even be included because it's flat as a pancake, but i'd probably use my own anyway. The color is very pretty also!

Q1: What does it mean by "weather resistant"? Does this mean the hammock is resistant to mold, mildew, and sun fading? Thanks.
A: Weather resistant on this hammock refers to a polyester material that can be left outdoors without having to bring in and out every day. This particular hammock will hold up pretty well to the elements but for the best hammock to stand up to mold, mildew and sun fading - Sunbrella fabric is the way to go. Sunbrella's composition repels water which is the key driver to preventing mold/mildew build-up. Plus, Sunbrella fabric is treated to retain it's color and not break down with UV rays.
Q2: CAN I PURCHASE HAMMOCK ONLY (ISLAND BAY) ALREADY HAVE STAND?
A: Yes! Item# ALZ079 is the hammock only.
Q3: Does this hammock come in pink?
A: No it does not. The only pink hammock we currently carry is item# THI016.
Q4: I am getting a hammock for my son and daughter - in -law for Christmas. Between them, they weigh 330 pounds, Will this hammock and stand hold up? I was debating between the pillow top and the plain quilted one:not so many reviews on the pillow top. Last, we live in central IL. Would one work better here?
