Description

This chair has been designed to be both beautiful and functional. It features a durable weave made from nylon rope and is handmade to perfection by skilled craftsman. Kick back and relax! This chair is great for comfort and style.
This is the ideal storage bag for all your relaxation needs. Woven from natural nylon material, this handy storage sack easily attaches to the side of your hammock or your hanging chair. Keep your book, suntan lotion or a snack right where you need it. So go ahead and relax- you won't need to get up for a thing!

INDOOR HANGING INSTRUCTIONS Instructions for Hanging the Chair Indoors

  1. Locate a Ceiling Joist by tapping or using a stud finder. The beam must be a solid straight-grained structural joist, usually found every 16" to 18" from each other.
  2. Vertically drill a 5/16" pilot hold in the middle of the joist for the screw to go into.
  3. We recommend that you rotate the screweye in all the way to the eye for best support.
  4. Tie the two free ends of the chair ropes onto the large S-hook by using an overhand knot.
  5. Hang the S-hook onto the screweye and determine the rope length that suites your ceiling height.
  6. The assembled chair should hang approximately 12" to 14" inches from the floor, based on your personal preference.
  7. You may need to do some adjustments to the rope until you find the right sitting height to accommodate your own height.
  8. Insert the dowels deeply into the boot cups.
  9. Get a good book or crossword puzzle and get ready to Relax!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANGING THE CHAIR OUTDOORS
  1. Tie a separate loop of rope over the tree limb, and drop it down to a height one can reach from the ground.
  2. Follow the hanging instructions from the instructions for Hanging the Chair indoors beginning at Step 3.
  3. Once the chair is assembled, hook the large S-hook onto the rope loop of the chair.
  4. Some adjustments may need to be made until you find the perfect height for your desired relaxation.
  5. You may consider purchasing a Tree Strap & Carabiner Clamp for quick hook up and release.

    My daughter has sensory disorder. I looked at indoor swings, and they all cost so much. I didn't know if a swing would benefit her, therefore I did not want to spend a lot of money. I am so glad I found this swing. I hung my swing from the celling with a large spring. Not only can she swing on it she can bounce, and go around in circles. It has been very beneficial for us. Her older sister enjoys it too. The quality is great too. I thought because it was not cotton, that it would not be soft, but it is. If you are using it for a small child, you can also tie off some of the excess fabric with yarn or ribbon. That's what I did. It makes it easier for the kids to climb in and out. I would defenitly recomend this product to anyone.

    The product description did not include a weight or capacity parameters. It is lightweight, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 100 pounds, I bought it for my 5 year old granddaughter to replace the old baby swing, and she likes it and uses it. I wish it was more sturdy, so it would be more multi-purpose, but the price was so cheap, I got my money's worth if they only have fun with it for a few times. I would recommend it for childred.

      Fantastic chair! We hung this is my daughter's playroom when we remodeled our basement. I had to try it out, of course and even with arthritis, was able to get in and out of the chair. I am finding it hard to get my 10 year old daughter out of the chair, however, because she loves it so much! Great product, very relaxing, incredible value.

        Want to encourage your kids to read? Set this up in a quiet spot in your backyard, and make a book the price of admission. They'll line up to see who goes first! And...keep coming back. (At least that's what happened with my school age boys.)

        A very inexpensive "escape" for kids who live in a world LOADED with stimuli. I bought it to help the backyard compete with videogames...and so far, it's well worth it.

        Great for reading the Sunday paper out on the back patio. I bought it for an X-chair frame when the original deteriorated from the Arizona sun; but due to the stretch, I almost dragged on the ground. After I put a couple knots in each side up near the attachment rings, it works fine.
