Get bargain. We have another rope swing that cost $350.00. This swing is comparable to it. We exchaged the rope used for handging with chain which makes a huge difference. The ropes used to hang the swing stretched sot hat you were never able to adjust the height and back of the swing as it continuously changed due the stretch of the ropes.

This swing is fairly easy to assemble, but the instructions are vague and not very helpful. For a fairly inexpensive swing, it's great. However the wooden frame is not quite square, a little crooked...well, you get what you pay for I guess. Also, after sitting in it (two adults and two small children) at near max weight capacity on occasion, we have needed to adjust the hanging ropes several times, and the hammock ropes are still stretching. Also, we do suggest putting it in a slightly 'reclined' position to keep the knee bar from digging in your thighs. Even so...we love it, and for the price, would buy it again.

Had a screened-in porch added to my house just recently, & it's rustically pretty -- intended that way. The only piece of furniture on it so far has been an old but classic Ikea Poang chair w/ ottoman in light wood & off-white canvas. Wanted a porch swing very much, but wasn't sure what type until I saw the picture of this one.

The lines are simple & clean, which is my personal taste. It's comfortable enough to nap in. Looks fabulous! And the handyman I asked to hang it was might impressed by the design & look. Too, the price is reasonable, especially given that it comes w/ all hardware including chains.

Overall a wise buy.
