I live in Chicago and this is on my covered patio from April - November. The picture attached is one I took 11/3/08 while sitting in my hammock chair.It is my favorite chair and was great while rehabbing a back injury this year. Everyone who sits in it loves it. Am sending one to our Aunt in LA for her patio. She offered to "borrow" mine during our winter months but I decided to send her one of her own instead. I like this design as it lends itself to sitting more upright than just a rope hammock so is great for reading but you can still kick back and chill and enjoy the gentle swinging hammock sensation.
