What I like most about the hammock sling is the simplicity of use. In the past, I got up on a bench and tied our hammock up with ropes and it was such a pain to remove that it stayed up all season. There were always layers of unattractive ropes hanging from the tree. The hammock was too high, too low or too tight so we had to keep adjusting the ropes. Now we just slip the hammock sling around the trees, attach an S hook, pick a "knot" for the correct height and we're ready to relax. It's simple to tie additional knots and the biggest bonus is that when we need to take the hammock down for rain, grass mowing or to take on trips, we simply lift the S hooks off the sling and the hammock is down. Our hammocks will last much longer and will stay brighter since they will not be left out in the weather. We are really happy with our hammock sling.
