You don't need a big, bulky metal stand to enjoy your hammock, just use the Tree Hugger Set of 2 Hammock Straps! Consisting of two durable, weather-resistant polyester straps, each measuring 8-feet in length, the Tree Hugger makes it easy enjoy your hammock just about anywhere. And with 16-feet in combined length, you should be able to make just about any two trees work, even if they look like they'd be too far apart. Each strap features connection points for attaching your hammock and you'll love the way your hammock swings freely from these straps. Two "S" hooks are included for hanging your hammock.

After laughing at my husband for trying to hang our hammock between 2 trees with bungee cords I found the Tree Hugger Hammock Straps. When I talked my husband into using this product by assuring him that this time it would not take 2 hours and his butt won't end up on the ground when he lays in the hammock he agreed to try. The first thing that went wrong(not with the product) was him trying to tie the straps in knots...that is when I showed him the instructions and he realized the strap went through the rings first and then you could tie a knot to keep the strap from slipping. I purchased a Nicaraguan Hammock. This was listed beneath as a "perfect" accessory. Unfortunately, the s-hooks are far too small for the rings on the hammock, so I had to spend an extra $9.28 during an extra trip to the store (a bummer when I was camping) to get some hooks that would fit the hammock.
"Perfect" is a lie. This cost me money and time.

        These work very well and make hammock setup a breeze. However; they rot and rust, and need to be cut down and replaced after about four years. Definitely got my money's worth though, and will buy another pair!

                This product ripped apart the first time it was loaded. Dangerous and worthless. The stiching popped and it caused hammock to collapse.
                You would and should expect better from a place that specializes in hammocks
