I could have saved myself some time and hassle if I had read the comments before buying this product. I have never purchased a product so poorly equipped to do what it's meant to do. I frankly don't know how the company that manufactures this hammock wheel kit can honestly say it's suited to hold up a standard hammock stand. I own the very hammock stand shown pictured with the product. The cheap plastic axle bends under the weight, turning the wheels inward sharply; rolling the hammock is extremely difficult. All that holds the plastic wheels on the axle are thin metal end caps that pop off as soon as you try to roll the hammock; keeping the wheels on for more than a few feet is next to impossible.I've never returned a product based solely on the fact that I thought it was too poorly designed to function.[...] But save yourself the trouble and look for a wheel kit with real rubber wheels held on to a metal axle with nuts and bolts.
